cool, im glad canada still has diversity like this!!!!

i too speak the alemannic dialect of southern baden and hope it remains a part of our culture, despite the temporary rise of english as the current lingua franca of the times.

im assuming ej came from et je? ive now seen chu in several places including this post and other places. what does it mean? and chu su? and whats tanne?

I would think that this anonymous coward, who needs quotation marks for the word chiac, has obviously never read Acadieman, nor spoken the language since childhood. =)
